By small family farm, we mean me and my pup - an English Setter named Miss Moxie. Red Tractor Farm is 120 acres at the end of Norton Road in Limington, Maine. Mostly wooded, we abut 2500 acres of undeveloped forest in conservation and tree growth protection. Our Christmas trees number about 3000 Balsam Fir with a few Fraser Fir, Korean Fir and some Black Spruce - a small operation by commercial standards. For sustainability at harvest we coppice our trees. We don’t spray any chemicals but do some traditional fertilization of young seedlings.
